alot of people have told me Captain Dan-Tastic, but it seems there are definitely people who really dont like it....

I work with a contractor who has a divert facility off his land line to his mobile phone,so they do exist. You could always get a land line and ansaphone but then you run the risk of people going elsewhere if they can't get hold of a human at the other end of the line.

yep, definitely can.

I used to do this about 20 years ago, but the landline had to be physically existing in a house (you couldn't get as 'virtual line' back then, but perhaps that's changed), and a phone needed to be plugged into it tho only initially to programme the line with the divert details (then it could be unplugged).
