How many Food & Drink Vouchers to pre-purchase?

Hi All fellow Werchter goers.

Got a quick question about Food & Drink Vouchers.

We are staying all 4 days and there is a small saving by buying them in advance but I don't want to get stuck with any at the end.

How many would you think it is wise to pre-purchase to cover eating and (lots of) drinking?

They quickly deplete so it's worth having more in the long term I guess. Although saying that there is only a 15 cent difference between the pre-sale and buying them at the festival. If you're a heavy drinker you will need quite a lot of coupons. For the whole festival looking at least 20.

PS: If you don't want to part with your hard earned cash for beers, there is a cup exchange scheme which is pretty good that they do instead.

I see that you have previously been to reading previously, be aware that the vibe is insanely different at Werchter, particularly in the campsites. Make sure you branch out and make friends as sometimes it can be boring after the music finishes around 2AM as most people just go to sleep rather than the typical 'stay up party hard' atmosphere that reading has.

What will one voucher buy you?

for example would it be .50cl of beer or only .25?

One voucher: Beer (Jupiler - Hoegaarden Rosé - 25 cl), Coca-Cola (Regular-Light-Zero - 25cl), Fanta (25 cl), Water (Chaudfontaine - 33 cl), A snack (frikandel, boulet)

One voucher and a half: Red Bull, French Fries with Sauce

Two vouchers: Hamburger, Pizza

Other stuff like pasta or noodles are three or more vouchers.

Last year I used in total arround 80 vouchers.

I ordered only 40 for this year, because i'm doing glastonbury too.

I'll take some food to the campsite or eat outside the festival area, it's cheaper...
