is there a church/sunday service ?

Have spent the night, or more specifically early morning, flaked out on the floor of the Christian Aid tent a couple of times over the years. Either due to not having a tent after it getting nicked, or being too wasted to want to take on the challenge of the "Hill of Death" back to the campervan fields.

Lovely people, didn't bother us with any religious mumbo jumbo. They did come and sweep us up in the morning though as they wanted the tent back ready for their morning service.

I think it was a marquee but their was a facade across the front built out of scaffolding corrugated iron and plywood. At one poin I'm pretty sure there was an inflatable pub in the area so maybe you're thinking of that

Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to rule out anything inflatable now. Also going to e.mail someone I was with and ask them because I'm fairly certain I saw a marriage or a blessing in a boxing ring at Glasto and also thought it was within the church.

There was. It was in Lost Vagueness and it was called the 'chapel of love'.

There was a boxing ring inside and you could book in to get married.

The facade you can see in the photos hid a marquee behind.
