Tipi

Hi guys

I've managed to book a Tipi for this years Glasto and received my actual festival tickets the other day, but there was no sign of any Tipi related tickets or confirmation etc.

The trouble is that ive booked and paid for the tipi but wont be arriving until the Thursday whereas a couple of others will be there wednesday.

Can anyone help answer the following for me??

Will i get an offcial confimration or should i just take my email?

How do i confirm who gets a wristband?

Will the people arriving on wednesday be allowed to enter without me being there?

i am in exactly the same boat so if anyone can shed some light on the questions above i would (also) be most appreciative.

You'll get an e-mail about two weeks before with all you need to know (where to go etc.). You don't all have to turn up at the same time but not sure about the lead-booker getting there after everyone else - contact details are all in the e-mail so maybe give them a shout beforehand?

Shouldn't be a problem if you let them know the situation and give at least one of the group's name who'll be there before you. The company who organises them is called Hearthworks, I freaked out last year when I got just my festival ticket and contacted them and they were great.

Great move getting the tipi btw, they're awesome.

Spoke to seetickets yesterday, they said not to worry.

The Tipi tickets havent arrived yet but they confirmed that you will get something through the post in a few weeks time

The e-mails are being sent out now, got mine today - you don't get tickets for the tipis

There's a load of stuff in it like directions and rules etc., but all you really need to know is that to get your tipi, go to the tipi 'office' and you just quote the lead booker's registration number and you'll be allocated your tipi and wristbands. Last year they said to quote the name, this year it's number.

As long as you all know that, you're all good.
