Rockness Clashfinder

sorry for the disappointment. Has this been done before? would like to see a clashfinder as i'm arriving pretty late and would like to see the opening acts. if yeah, could someone make an attempt or give me an idea of the times of each stage?

The stage times haven't been announced yet as far as i know, just who is on what stage on which day from the official Rockness Guide

So i guess you can work out rough clashes from that but not exact timings, which i imagine won't be released until nearer the fest itself, as they are still announcing stuff - not having gone before i don't know from previous years when they get around to this though.

Hope a clashfinder does appear at some point, they've been a life saver at other fests. I'm trying to do RN on a budget so don't want to be forking out for official programmes/lanyards.

you'll be out of luck. it was 7 quid for the lanyard last year and there wasnt even a programme

would be very surprised if set times come out.

Shame, this'll be the first fest I've been to that there's no clashfinders made for. Either way I won't be paying for anything official.

Can I just take this opportunity to remind folks not to buy any lanyards until after you get through the gates.

I don't work for rockness, its just that the ones sold in the car park are fakes and have the wrong times on.

It doesn't matter whether you buy one or not, at Rockness the acts never appear at the right time....I got speaking to one of the bloody beetroots last year and he said they had no clue what time they were going to be on stage at and that the organisation was crap (apart from that they loved the festival, views etc). I've turned up at tents loads of times at Rockness only to find that the dj/act I've came to see have either finished or are half way through their set....hopefully this will be improved on this year.

The timings can be pretty poor at times. There's a few acts I've missed due to them being on at the wrong time.

Just looking at the official guide I think it would be pretty much impossible to do a clashfinder based on last years times. For example last year there were only 3 acts on the Friday main stage last year and there isn't as many acts on the Main stage saturday this year.

Hadouken! last year were on an hour earlier than were supposed to be. I popped into the tent with the group to see them say "thanks everyone"

Its happened a few times with 2manydjs and Felix da Housecat. But by now everyone know Felix is a twat.

Downloaded the RN App but it just states everyone is playing at the same time currently. this will probably change like a day before the festival but it is pretty useful. it allows you to check off the acts you are wanting to see and sets off an alarm when they are due on stage so you know when to move around. the vouchers are shit though, although hopefully later on you get some better offers also a good site map and direct links to twitter and facebook. overall its pretty good worth the £3. Also, it will be really useful during the festival although there is a risk of losing the ipod/iphone that you have bought it on. so thats the plus-side. beats a lanyard anyday unless you like souvenirs.

I think Sunday was really mucked up time wise last year. Im sure there is a reasonable explaination.

Felix is an actual knob. Did you hear about him cancelling two Scottish shows this year on the same weekend? Both for different reasons... haha.
