Drinks?

This is my first time at Glastonbury, and wondered if you can walk round all of the festival with your own drinks - or do they have a similar set up to V fest, where you can drink at the campsite but have to buy drinks once inside with all the music etc... ?

Yes, you can take your own and wander around anywhere with your own booze: http://www.glastoearth.com/the-faq/faq-part-4

And yes, this does mean you could walk into one of the bars and sit down with your own booze. The only 'inside' you need to get into is the main gate.
