Drop of near Gate D

Hi, i come in from the East, so usually have to enter through Gate B/C, however last few years we've set up camp in the SW- Park Home/Pennards and have really enjoyed it, this year we're getting dropped off by a mate and was wondering if we can get dropped off at or as close as possible to Gate D, thinking of going along the A303 then up the A37, is this the best route in ??? Ta very much

you can't be dropped near Gate D, as you would need a car park sticker to be let into Red Route and then the West Car Parks, - the Drop Off point is now near East Compton, and you take a bus in from there.

Can we not be dropped off at the entrance to the west carparks and walk the rest of the way, through the carparks?? we are aiming to get there about 6ish on the weds morning ??

The east carparks last year were stopping people from setting down at the carpark gates.

Just get dropped off the the Apple tree inn and walk from there no problem stopping there and its not a long walk to gate D,

surely that would be just as far (if not further) than using the official drop-off point and going in thru gate A?
