RockNess App problems.

Is anyone else having problems with the RockNess app on their iPhone? It seems like a work in process to me.

I can't zoom in on the map, only zoom out. The interactive points on the map are in random places and are not where they should be.

The rest of it seems a little un organised and unimpressive.

It's a bit annoying considering it did cost money and I thought the interactive map would be a great help considering the site now has a new layout.

I got it and the scheduler doesnt work. I guess it will be nearer the time but i was wanting to add the artist now to plan ahead and basically use the app.

It should be good once its had an update

hi everyone, this is the developer here.....i come in peace ;-)

the map is changing at the moment but will be sorted in the next couple of days, which should rectify the problems. it wont change much looks wise but all the poi's will be in the right place.

on the set times, as some of you have guessed they will be released nearer the time, its not a bug, we just havent had them yet....we work with alot of festivals and this is normal as the timings etc will still be changing...., so keep your eyes peeled and things will start to appear in the run up to the festival.....

all been well we should have some more vouchers going on there, in fact i think that there's another food one just been agreed, so hopefully by the time we get to Rockness there will be plenty on there for you all.....

if you have any q's or comments / ideas etc drop us a line on u2us@live-apps.co.uk as we are always looking for ways to improve the app......

cheers poleski for the kind words, we hope you appreciate what we are trying to do for the festival goers in the UK......if people like the app please rank us on the app stores and if you think that we can do it better we would love to hear that too....

also i have seen a few people are worried about battery life, a little tip is when you set off for the festival turn the brightness down on the phone by 30 to 50% this will make a real difference on the battery life.....

yep we have taken the maps down to fix a small bug that we have found as the map had been changed so many times. We should have the maps up by wednesday, and hopefully it wont be changing again. Apparently there should be some more vouchers coming too! have a good bank holiday everyone.....Andy

Hi Andy,

Just an idea but could a little alert pop up on your status bar to let you know when one of the acts in your list is coming up? Maybe it will already do this but obviously we wont know until the day?

glad to hear that its all good, on the schedule piece we will be introducing this feature for next year, what does happen though is that it will tell you who is on "now" so to speak.....but next year will have the alerts. we had to pick what updates would work best for the year and that didnt make the cut but we will have it for next year....

sounds like so far so good, if you like the app then please rate it on the various stores....i have set this business up from scratch and its been hard work but hopefully we are starting to get there! ;-)
