cejx
I love how irate you are about my post ha ha!! I'm only being honest and giving some perspective of what the poster can expect. Lets be clear, I did go with the best of intentions to complete the work but it wasn't for me. You'll probably be happy to hear that I actually paid less than buying ticket because there was no booking or postage fee. You assuming I gave up perks of showers is quite simply ridiculous, of course I didn't. How naive are you? I find it funny that you make an assumption that the jobs are so over subscribed without any fact. It's easy to get a job litter picking, I applied about 6 weeks before the start of the festival plus I also had another friend get offered a job the week before because of drop outs so there can't be that many people trying to do it. Anyway Glasto did pretty well out of me because I got no money back on my ticket and they got 1 days work out of me for nothing apart from a shower every day and 2 meals which I got after my first shift. I have now been black listed from working at Glasto which I'm fine with because I would never do it again and I have full respect for anyone that completes the work because it isn't easy. DeadAmos
The blacklist only covers the workers/volunteer positions and not the general public ticket purchases.
Random Circle
Hi, me & a mate have signed up for the recycling crew this year, got assigned a spot outside the John Peel etc and given our shift times (early morning, lovely jubbily) - anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for us from anyone who's done it in the past for getting through the working successfully? Looking forward to giving something back to Glastonbury for once So excited it is unreal. Edited June 2, 2011 by Random Circle
