How have you dealt with Mud AND Child/ren?!

Last year we took our Son (3) for his 1st Glasto and of course the weather was fabulous so mud wasn't an issue!!!

I'm really worrying about the weather being crap this year...Only ever had to look after myself in the mud in previous years! :D

I've read a fab tip off another website about taking 1 of those large Ikea bags and when you get back to your camp with muddy child, put the child into the bag and strip them off...Then lift out the naked but clean child into tent/caravan and re-dress in clean clothes. Then all the muddy stuff is enclosed in the big bag!! (Already got my bag ready!!)

Got all the usual wellies, waterproofs etc.....Anyone got any good tips to make life just that bit easier IF the weather/mud is terrible?! :O

The NCT Tent may be useful to you, I don't have kids but saw this post the other day and thought it would be very useful to those who do!! :)

:D

The NCT tent also has a toddler toilet and evening bath time for children up to the age of five, so ideal for your three year old. Bath products, towels etc are provided and you will even be given a cuppa to have whilst he plays post bath!

Best bet is to wander up to the Kidz Field and take a look - NCT is at the top in Little Kidz.

Not sure how you would word phrase in the search function but there were definitely great tips following the year of the wettening in 2007. Not sure as well how far back the archive system goes on this site but you might strike lucky.
