Newbie Q. At Myhab - Carrying Booze Onsite

hi all,

complete newbie here, making 1st trip to glastonbury at 38.

we are getting old now, and opted for myhab and i have a question about going onsite through pennard hill gate,

can we carry our own booze (cans/spirits) through the gate (backpack) into glastonbury, just dont want to be spending a fortune

at bars all day and would rather have a backpack with some cans and spirits....

any ideas?

Well, as everyone else is allowed to on arrival at the regular campsites, I should think the answer is a probably yes. Just DO make sure everything is in cans or decanted into plastic bottles, this is the only thing security would check you for.

There are no arenas at this festival and apart from glass checks, you are allowed to take booze everywhere...except into some of the shi-shier bars in the markets...pedants!

You can't take glass through into the festival, but it was allowed within the Myhab campsite last year.

Carrying your own alcohol through the pedestrian gates is permitted.
