Festival without the camping?

Maybe of interest to someone ... we are a small B&B in Glastonbury, right in the town centre and a two minute walk away from the Town Hall where the festival shuttle bus runs to/from.

If you fancy doing the festival but not staying in a tent this year, we have one double room available for the duration of the festival.

The Festival will run a bus service from Glastonbury town to the site:

- on Wednesday and Thursday between 0700-2200,

- on Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 0700-0200 and

- on Monday between 0600-1900.

The charge will be £4 single. (This price covers costs only and the service is non profit-making.)

how much is the room?

£340 for a couple for four nights, including full english breakfast. The room has a king-size four-poster bed. A single mattress is also available if you want to bring a friend! (or a child).

lol. We've not camped there for about ten years. We usually go in on the Sunday on a 'locals' ticket, but we forgot to apply for them this year

Well my enquiry through the Localo site that the guesthouse is advertised on has gone unanswered, so either it's booked and they can't be bothered to let anyone know, or they have IT problems. Either way, disappointing, and not great for business.

Happy to report that, following investigations with the Localo support person, Trish&Seamus did respond to my enquiry back on the 7th, but their response got lost somewhere between Localo and my email server, all a bit unfortunate and mysterious, but the tests the Localo person sent me last night all got through OK.

Hopefully someone that can use the fine room will book it up!
