just looked at train prices for bristol to derby and back for download next week. best part of £90. jesus!!!!!!!

yup train prices r horrendous ... im only paying 20 quid shrews to Derby

try different routes or mix and matching

or even a rail card might save you money especially in the long term

doesnt everyone know that its more expensive if you leave it until last minute?

we have all known about download for a long time. I dont doubt you could have got a ticket for about £40 3 months ago. just sayin.

my missus can get herself and the 2 kids to glasgow for under a hundred (from hull) if she books in advance, she looked last minute the other week and it was £90 each (that was an unplanned trip)

I booked a return London Kings Cross to Derby months ago, was £24.

Im guessing it will depend on the times you want to travel etc, but I've just looked and found a return to Bristol Temple Meads for £62..... still pricy, but better then 90 quid!!
