Can I leave cans of beer in the lockups?

First time after many years that I've thought of this, would be handy. Would save a long walk back to east cv fields when I'm running short. Do they allow alcohol in the lockups?

Yes, no problem. Anything can be left in the lockups as long as its not alive

We are staying the East campervan field, so a friend and I are going to leave a tent in the Dance Field with loo roll etc in it to save us the long walk and have somewhere to crash for an hour or 2. Maybe thats an idea?

I'd reckon with camping spaces at a premium in fields such as the dance one it wouldn't be the fairest thing to do seeing as you've already got a place in the campervan field. What if everyone had two tents pitched all over the festival for convenience?

Well by having a ticket it allows me to pitch a tent at Glastonbury, nothing about 'fairness'. 1 ticket = 1 person and 1 pitch, I paid extra for the campervan slot.

Chances are I'll stay in the tent more than the van anyway, just use it for cleaning and breakfast!

I think it's a great ides to have a little tent as a base, though I would be very miffed if I found that someone was doing that right next to me and I was tripping over guy ropes or I was having trouble finding a pitch because someone wanted cv + tent.

I would be careful though....most of us are happy festival people, sadly there are a few that are not. If they realise that your tent is a base some close by may take to using it as a toliet or think it's funny to take it down and throw it some where. It has also been know to come back and find others in it!

For some reason didn’t think this would be an item accepted in the lock ups, no idea why!

Great place for a daily small stash to go collect later in the day – good times!

None at all, they are white canvas tents, probably one of the cooler places on a really hot day. I don't know an awful lot about tents but I was camped with someone who was a bit of an expert and all he kept rattling on about was how white tents were where its at in the heat, that and the previous night's mushroom experience

what are the ques like at different times of the day and night?

if say I leave a crate of beer in there can I takeaway 2 cans and leave the rest, all in one lockup transaction?

You can't stick sleeping kidz in though!!

There is a tiny one on the left just before you exit PGC, great for leaving things you only need on site like rugs and chairs, saves carrying them up the hill!

Really? I'm always in East cv fields so going in and out PGC at least twice a day probably more. The nearest one I noticed was up the top of the Pyramid field.

Ok, job done! So just before the hill of death we stash heavy furniture and beer for free til the next day yes? Would they take a 3 seater sofa, I jest not.
