Friday traffic - what's it like?

OK so we've just found out my sister has an exam she really can't get out of on Friday at 2pm which is a bit of a pain.

She lives nearby and my lovely parents have offered to come and collect her Friday midday-ish and drop her back to the site after exam. However, i've not needed to drive through Pilton on the Friday for years so have no idea if they're likely to get traffic issues. Can anyone advise?

They usually drop her off at the taxi rank on the Thursday where I meet her, which works well. But i'm guessing the stewards won't be as keen for them to pick her up from there as they're not a taxi! So would the pickup/drop off point at Bath & West be the best option? They'll be coming from Glastonbury direction.

Yeah think Bath and West should do you. Not sure what the access policy in Pilton is for non-residents and pass holders

As for traffic, on a Friday its pretty non-existent

I should think they'll avoid going through Pilton Village itself. I'd assumed traffic would mostly be clear by then, but just wanted to check.

Is it fairly easy to get back out to the Bath and West drop off point on a Friday?
