liam77
Hi all, Any Rockness veterans able to explain how the wristband/campsite works? Is it any difference to the other major festivals? I'm a bit bemused by not being able to go back to the car for more alcohol once wristbanded. Surely they don't expect you to be able to hump everything from car to camp in one go? I'm not Popeye! Anyone able to explain how it works? Cheers!
Kyelo
Simple thing to do, take all your alcohol first trip and then go back for your equipment second! Simples. Not sure how strictly it was enforced last year, never been to a festival and done more than one trip!
Patty37
Aye.... what?!?!? That can't be right? You're trying to say they're trapping you within the campsite once they have put the wristbands on? FECK OFF!?!?!?
stu150
You can go in and out a many times as you like. But your only allowed booze on the first trip. Why not take in booze and your tent. Get in. Get the tent up and stash the booze in it. Then head back to the car for more stuff.
RMcCole
It's really not that difficult to be honest. My mate managed to lump the beer for 4 us when he was out his mind last year. I'd make sure you've planned the way you intend to carry it though. Edited June 7, 2011 by RMcCole
davetherave_to_grave
Yeah, i just had a sledge filled with booze first time. Then went back for the tent etc afterwards. It will just be a policy they have introduced to show they are being good about binge drinking etc. There's a way around it.
Kyelo
I either use a trolley or 2 of those thick Tesco canvas bags, never needed more than 1 trip.

RMcCole
I'll be using an old suitcase this year as I don't have my stupid pal to carry mine. Edited June 8, 2011 by RMcCole
