Bristol Cribbs Causeway

We're staying at the Travel Inn at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol on the Tuesday night and I noticed that there is a Morrison's nearby.

Does any Bristonians or anyone else know if there will be any booze left on the Tuesday evening (being so close to the festival) and if there is a decent selection?

For some reason I dont think I've ever bought booze in Morrisons, but its a pretty standard superstore sized supermarket so I'm sure you'll be fine. There's also a massive ASDA nearby if Morrisons doesnt have what you want. ASDA is also a better bet if you need any last minute camping supplies or other non food/grocery things. (ASDA is 24 hour too in case you are too late for Morrisons which I think shuts at 9pm - I could be wrong. Although you need to bear in mind licensing laws as shops can only sell alcohol between certain hours)

I've done plenty of supermarket shopping in Bristol on the Tuesday night before Glastonbury and have never had a problem

The Asda at cribs is MASSIVE, also most people don't seem to stop in Bristol so there should be ample amounts of booze available.

Thanks for your replies. Travelling from Glasgow so may make more sense to get some of our supplies down there to save on fuel costs.

Go to the ridiculous ASDA, it makes Tesco Extras seem small. They'll have everything.

Definitely go for the ASDA - it's mahooossive!!

We've stopped there last two years on the Wednesday morning and there's not a huge amount of festy goers stop there (stick out like a sore thumb don't we?!?) and they do just about anything you may have forgotten or need to stock up on.

Alternatively, Cribbs Causeway is a huge retail park with just about everything you could need so have a bimble around on Tuesday evening.

I think the Asda is a Walmart size place two entrances, morrisons is quite big and there is a Marco there aswell

And if you wanna splash out there is a M&S in The Mall aswell open till 9pm haha

You'll be fine, Cribbs is technically in South Gloucestershire anyway, so in Somerset terms it's nowhere near the festival, as it's basically in a different country.
