Big Top Headliners

I think this was my favourite slot last year, with the Big Top headliners starting just after the main headliner had finished. Thought it was a great idea to do this and remember drunkenly dancing around to Caribou and New Pornographers!

Who would you all like to see as the headliners on this stage? I'm thinking Best Coast, TuneYards and Wooden Shjips would be my choices, though in reality I reckon The Walkmen will probably be one of the three along with maybe The Fall.

I'm so excited!

I'll be surprised if it's not The Fall one night and after Okkervil River being sub-headliner last time they played, I can see them getting shifted to full Big Top headliner this time.

As for the third one, I can see it being any one of Lykke Li, Gruff Rhys or Wild Beasts, but who knows?

The Fall and Wild Beasts sound as safe bets as you'll find. True that Okkervil River aren't going to get higher on the Garden Stage bill, and it would be odd to have them in exactly the same slot last time. Perhaps them or Tinariwen to complete the trio.

Friday Midlake will be on before Beirut with Wild Beasts headlining Big Top

Saturday Laura Marling on before Joanna Newsom with The Fall headlining Big Top

Sunday The Walkmen on before Mogwai with Lykke Li headlining Big Top

Strange how the line up can be so exciting for me and yet I'm not really that fussed about any of the headliners!

I'm really intrigued as to the Tipi headliners.....in fact I shall start an utterly pointless thread about it!
