ian the worm
Don't, they'll lose them. What we advise is writing your phone numbers on the arms in marker pens.... it's what we look for.
CCCheese
This. We do. Just keep the pen with you for topping up the ink. Its the best way by far.

MamaJojo
In Boots you can buy the sort of wristbands that they use in hospitals, think they are in red like the allergy ones, can put all the details on there and jazz them up a bit - then they've got a 'special' wristband. We always do this when we go aay with the kids. Just one tip, don't put their names on them - at a push maybe just the surname. And put two contact numbers. This was pointed out to me at Disney once - I'd written out all these funky nametags with numbers and names and then a cast member pointed out that it might be the 'happiest place on earth (obviously never been to Glasto ) but there will always be dodgy characters and you dont want to give those nefarious people an 'in' - eg "Hello 'Lulu', your mum has sent me to come and get you, she's waiting at etc etc etc" or you can buy something like this http://www.kiddymania.co.uk/reuseable-identity-wristbands-c-148_149.html?osCsid=b03d660d4e780958b34729b5305dd072 If they want lanyards - just smile nicely at the gate and ask if you can have a couple extra for the kids - I'm sure they'll oblige Edited June 9, 2011 by MamaJojo

robin
Seen kids wearing tshirts with phone numbers on before. Then you don't have to worry about it getting smudged, or have to re-write on them every day after they have worn off.
glasto-worker
Last year I asked for one of these for our little one. They refused saying they weren't allowed to for children. It was his first ever festy, first ever Glasto, and would have been an amazing souvenir for him to have :-(

Will be creating a bracelet for him to wear with a phone number on it, as really not comfortable with the chemicals in permanent markers going on his skin

CCCheese
A couple of your colleagues popped in to our place for a daytime tea break in 2009... I made some comment about their stab vests, along the lines of "I wouldn't have thought you needed those here". Not that bad things never happen at Glastonbury, but... are they optional or are some/all duties required to wear them? They look massively uncomfortable for hot weather. rischbrit
Stabbies for us are compulsory every duty/shift. Where else will I put my lip balm and phone!!
