Spare Leeds Tickets

Basically I've been lumbered with 2 extra weekend Leeds tickets because the people I bought them for have decided that they don't really want to go.

So if anyone's thinking of getting any a ticket at any point soon, I'll sell mine on at face value, (don't want to put it on eBay or anything, I'm not in the slightest bit fussed about making any kind of profit) just to cover my losses. It would be greatly appreciated and I can obviously provide a confirmation email to anyone that wants to check before they hand over any money.

I appreciate this situation is my fault but it would save me losing out if anyone was going to buy a ticket anyway.

Cheers

I blame your mates more than you. Always annoyed me people changing their mind for no real reason after someone has bought them a very expensive ticket....

Do you not have any other mates you could entice into coming? Because, aye, you'll really struggle to flog them.

Yeah I know, but if anyone knows of someone who intends to buy a ticket through seetickets or whoever, if they can be sent my way I'd be so grateful.

It's basically because I live in the South but go to uni up north so decided to go to Leeds as opposed to reading this year for a change and different mates. So all the people I've been to reading with in previous years obviously have no need for a leeds ticket, hence my inability to sell it on thus far.

I'll just remain optimistic, again if anyone wants either 1 or both tickets then let me know.

I know a few people after both Leeds & Reading tickets but after seeing them go cheap on eBay... & now ViaGoGo (the official one) they are holding out for around the £100 mark. Sorry, but I'll let them know of your plight.

Your friends really should pay up.

I was so annoyed when my friend told me he couldnt go to a gig, 2 hours before it started and that cost me £30, I was soo angry, and had to let another friend go with me but for free. It sucks.

But anyway good luck selling, but i dont think you will be able to cover up your losses as you can get one off via go go for about £130..

If they've committed and then pulled out they should definitely offer to make up the difference if you lose money.

If they aren't that close friends and you rarely see them, and they weren't 100% committed, then I guess you're left holding the baby.

Moral of the story: if you have a choice, always choose the South.

Have the money of your mates before you purchase the ticket! Its the risk of buying tickets for your friends... The festival wont sell out, I belive Leeds Festival is a long way of selling out, around 12000 tickets is what i have heard! (Edit:-Day and Weekend Tickets!

But thats just a roumour on a couple of forums. Its difficult you could try and get sombody else to come for a reduced price so you dont loose to much!
