Coverage on bbc Alba

Not that it was advertised anywhere i saw but there has been 4 hours of coverage on bbc alba that you will get on the i player. You do have to put up with the gaelic speaking presenters though.

Place was going nuts for Example! good performance and got to see a few songs.

The presenters were woeful, I felt uncomfortable everytime they opended their mouths. The Kasibian highlights looked amazing, the rest was pretty gash imo.

Some great footage of Kasabian and Paolo, but I agree.. those presenters from BBC Alba. Wow - they are absolutely shocking!

It was good to see some coverage though, however it wasn't great. The sound seemed to be quite poor, especially for Kasabian who came across very poorly on TV.

Magnetic Man looked like the biggest load of shite I've seen in a very long time.

And when Paolo was interviewed, he seemed just as surprised as us that he was headlining.

Was that the only gaelic presenters they could get? Was the boy from Dotaman unavailable?

Not really wanting to put down our native tounge or anything but the entire population who speak Gaelic in this country could fit in Hampden park and the BBC can still affoard to give them a specialised tv channel and a Radio station. Madness!

I'm guessing the only way that those two got the presenting job, was because they are the only two people left that speak Gaelic.

The highlights are cringingly bad. Both presenters were awful when interviewing. The bit when the camp guy spoke to Bombay Bicycle Club is the worst. It's not even edited(I dont think it was live because the interview was before they played their set and the highlights were on at like 10PM).

I had to turn it off for a while cause I just couldn't stand the presenters.

Completely agree about the presenters. I had to watch the highlights on iplayer, purely so I could fast forward the cringe that came from their mouths.

So disappointed with their coverage. Why show Zane Lowe?! And not show Chemical Bros?!
