Stuck in the mud?

Has anybody ever been a victim of their car getting stuck in the mud over the weekend? If so, how best can you avoid it? Given the potential for rain next week I was wondering what the chances were of my car sinking over the weekend and rendered immobile on Monday morning...

Don't park on a hill, and get a close to a bit of the metal road as you can.

Remember at Hydro Connect (West of Scotland) a few years ago, it was tipping it down all day Sunday.

Went back to the car on the Sunday morning to pack up with the intention of going back in and leaving as soon as the last band were finished.

On a whim, decided to move the car further up the car park next to the metal road.

Was a genius idea as later on the car parks were terrible as folk had been leaving throughout the day and we would have had no prospect of getting out otherwise. People were trapped in their car overnight.

Tbh, I don't think this will be a problem at Glasto as it will be a glorious, sunny weekend.
