Qs about Property Lockup and Charging Stations

This is our first time at Glastonbury and have a couple questions. We'll be in the UK for a couple weeks so will have to bring all our stuff (extra clothes, laptop, etc) for the trip with us. Obviously don't want to leave it in the tent. How safe is it to leave our laptop and extra luggage at the Lockup Station? Is it free? Can we leave it there for the entire time (5 days) we're at Glasto?

Will also have a camera with us and plan on using it for photos/video. But there's no way the battery will last 5 days. I know there are places to charge your mobile phone, but what about charging a camera battery? At the Belgian festivals we've been to, they have a central station in the campsite where you could take anything to have it charged. Does Glasto have this as well?

Many thanks. :)

Your stuff will be perfectly safe in the lockups. I leave cash in there every year and have no worries about it. People leave all sorts of things. It is free, but as they do it for charity a donation would be nice if you can afford it.

As for the camera battery, I've never seen one. The phone chargers are hard wired in so you couldn't just unplug your phone and plug it in. They may have somewhere to plug one in though if you ask. Some of the stalls might let you charge it there too, but they're likely to charge you for it.

Enjoy your first Glasto :)

Anything you put in the lockups is 100% safe, I put thousands of pounds worth of kit in and out of there every festival. If you have electrical items then just ask them to store them on anything but the lowest shelf - in case of flooding. Do not have any valuables in your tent even if you are in there sleeping. The lockups are open 24 hours a day from the gates first opening to the festival closing on the Monday evening. Collect your stuff before noon on the Monday though as otherwise everything from the various lockups is gathered up to one near the farmhouse I think.

Not sure what the battery charging options are. But some stalls have their own power supply and will let you charge up if you ask nicely. The Orange system for phones may have normal power sockets if you take your battery charger - not sure on that though as I've never used them.
