eFestivals
there's normally at least one food stall in the field that does food with a kids focus. Just about everything is free, but there may be the odd exception (I'm not entirely sure). Food of course isn't free. There's toilets in the field which are meant to be exclusively for kids, but of course they do get used by adults too at times. Overall they're definitely kept cleaner than the toilets around the rest of the site, but the state you find them in at any particular time is of course related to how long ago they were last cleaned and how they've been used since that last clean. And just because it's popped into my mind ... if the rain is enough to make things muddy (hopefully not, but it's looking possible) then the Kidz Field gets first shout on straw to put down to soak it up, so that it's as safe underfoot for the kids as it can be. (However, dependent on just how much rain there is the straw might not have too much of an effect. Fingers crossed it's not too bad). The kidz field is lovely, always colourful and vibrant (well, perhaps not at 9am Sunday morning ) and one of my favour places on site. I always make a point of taking a walk around it each year. Congrats on the adoptions, and I'm sure you'll all have a blast.
matt2007
Big tip from taking kids for the last 8 years. What do you have to carry them around in? We have a garden cart pimped for the fest. basically it is great if you have something in which they can slepp, sit play that you can have a cover over andso you can get about the site easily. On the chat area there is a topic about cart pimping have a look. Plus have somewhere to put all their bits & pieces. If you want something basic and lets face it it looks like it will be a bit wet & muddy use a large wheelbarrow with a golf unbrella. Put an old run or blanket under the kids. Look at some of the picturea at www.kidzfield.com And it IS all FREE!!!!!!!!!
