JC-Mo'Fucka
I saw them at the O2 at the weekend and thought they were really good. They have really improved since I last saw them at Old Trafford about 4 years ago. However does Miles Kane have nothing better to do than just come on to play on 505 for 30 seconds, I quite like his solo stuff but coming on for 1 song all the time is getting daft. mikeb
Black Sabbath + Metallica ... with Led Zep and perhaps even Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Iron Maiden and a several other vaguely similar bands as support On no, hang on, that's all kinda sounding more like daydreaming of a jolly to Donnington rather than Somerset isn't it yum.yum.yum. and all that ... wanders off to contemplate *exactly* how old is way too old for Download Edited November 12, 2011 by mikeb

sisco
In all honesty Gazza I can't be bothered to respond to all of them as this is only the Glasto page and the list is too long!! But I reckon for 2013: Arcade Fire Mumford and Sons Dizzee Rascal Kasabian Florence and the Machine Daft Punk Lady Gaga Chase and Status Biffy Clyro

gazza_20
It's not just a page for you to have your predictions discussed, it's a page for everyone to discuss who they want to headline Glasto in 2013. So if mikeb wants LZ and Sabbath to headline, he's got every right to discuss it.

rug568
My other thought, a hunch at all festivals now. Glasto 13 Radiohead Example The Stone Roses Daft Punk Lady GaGa Orbital Reading and Leeds 11 Jay - Z & Kanye West Blur Foo Fighters V Festival 11 The Stone Roses Coldplay TITP 11 RATM Sound Garden (Special Guest) Lady GaGa The Stone Roses Oxygen 11 Snow Patrol maybe? (Think they'll be a band to headline Oxygen but play 2nd to GaGa or the Roses at TITP) Lady GaGa The Stone Roses Rockness 11 Fatbly Slim Daft Punk Noel Gallagher Download 11 The Prodigy/Nickelback Metallca Black Sabbath Soni 11 KISS RATM Sound Garden (Special Guest) Blink 182 Isle Of Wight 11 Arcade Fire The Killers Radiohead Pheonix Festival 11 The Stone Roses Kasabian The Smashing Pumpkins Thoughts people? gazza_20
Best it easily IOW. Reading would sell out in an instant, prefer Green Day but i know unlikely. I can't see Example headlining the other. i know he's big and all but he only played 4th down on the 4music stage at V, who he is easily most suited to. I would say 3rd down on the Other at a push. Other than that Glastonbury looks a bit average. I will reserve judgement on the Stone Roses until July. ATM i can't see them lasting until 2013. V would be interesting, i will not go no matter what, but my sister is going and she hates coldplay and has never heard of the stone roses so tbh i would love it if it is true. Phoenix looks a bit odd. Are smashing pumpkins still headline worthy? Playing Academy venues etc. Would laugh so hard if Nickleback played download. rexclark
I would be over the moon if Arcade Fire and Daft Punk were on the same line up. If they clashed I'd perhaps have a mental breakdown!
gazza_20
You know it's almost happen if they were there. You'd have Arcade Fire Mumford & Sons Daft Punk/Tinie Tempah Example

dingbat2
I am not sure about Stone Roses, I think they will burn out before then. I can see them headlining loads of festivals next year, and unless they release some really good new stuff next year, then I think the novelty may have warn off by 2013. I can't see them headlining Glasto in 2013 having headlined all the other festivals the year before. I suspect they may call it a day after the festival season next year
