The Mean Bean
http://www.efestival...2/120518b.shtml - Adele turned down a headlining slot
jump
^That's what I like best about Adele, she doesn't like/want to play festivals at all.
not worthy
it's going to be a big year Fri Rolling Stones Sat Pink Floyd Sun Stone Roses One to watch, Kingmaker in the John Peel Tent. Radiohead and Suede started off supporting them many moons ago

not worthy
fair point the chances of getting Loz off his arse to the John Peel Tent are a bit slim!
MEGABOWL
Just listened to Valtari the new album by Sigur Ros, in a special one hour preview they did, got me thinking that they should definitely play next year and maybe as a sub to Radiohead or Arcade Fire, if they did it would be a surreal 3 hours of music! Gucci Piggy
If Eavis has asked Adele to headline, will this mean he doesn't have 3 headliners lined up which he'd prefer over her?. Therefore no Radiohead/Stones/Roses combination or whatever?

Gucci Piggy
I don't think you can take anything from it to be honest, I don't think you can even be certain he actually asked. Such is the wonders of Eavis and Glastonbury.
Bloc
A lot of the mainstream and larger indie bands are releasing new material this year, wouldn't be a suprise for world tours at 2012, hopefully with stops at Glastonbury. Those who easily could headline: The Killers Queens of the Stone ages Kid Cudi The Strokes MGMT Bloc Party Muse Wolfmother (?) Daft Punk (2012-2013) Linkin Park Green Day etc etc
SirToire
Possible... SirToire
Stone Roses under Daft Punk and Killers under the Rolling Stones. You might have a good case to put AF on the Other Stage, but I just think that next year might the Canadians' year.
Gucci Piggy
Stone Roses and The Killers definitely wouldn't do anything but headline. Daft Punk could do the Other Stage.
hawkzred
Daft Punks overrated pop dance is not Pyramid headlining material, or at least I hope not. Stone Roses might be a bit over exposed by next year to be in with a chance and would be too big for the Other stage. Portishead is a great shout by the way, be great to see them back. willutalk
If The Rolling Stones Played, I think that they'd have to play Saturday Headline, it is the slot that is considered the most prestigious. I can see them playing next year and Gaga on the Sunday. Friday will be a rock band I think (Stone Roses, Foo Fighters or The Killers)

Andre91
The Strokes would be a great Other Stage headliner imo.
