abdoujaparov
Very different animals. PF's lyrics are more relevant today than ever. Zeppelin were just a shit hot rock and roll band.
oneeye
Some suggestions/wishful thinking; Prince, Linkin Park, The Eagles - any one of these possible?
The Nal
PF's lyrices are the worst kind of 6th form poetry...they're still relevant because they're still mostly rubbish (I recognise that this is a statement based on personal opinion and that your opinion is different) Edited June 21, 2012 by The Nal

Vieuphoria
The Rolling Stones? I can't see them on the lineup section? Or did you mean the The Stone Roses. Too many stones already definitely need Queens Of The Stone Age, Stone Temple Pilots, Stone Sour, Black Stone Cherry. Should all be booked next year too. eFestivals
Why about Sly and the Family Stone? I'd love to see them - but about 30 years ago when Sly was still all there. Somehow I can';t see them being at Glastonbury any time soon. By-chance I caused Martin Elbourne (the main Glasto booker) to book them for Lovebox five or so years ago. I think it probably says a lot about them that they've not popped up at Glasto since then.

abdoujaparov
Lol. Pink Floyd's lyrics are not 'the worst kind of 6th form poetry', they are amazing, thought provoking, capable of stirring ones emotions. They are just amazing. I know I am hugely biased but I don't think you could say what you just have about their lyrics. Waters is a lyrical genius!
