EARLY BIRD TICKETS ON SALE THIS WEEK

This is my reply to the Facebook Download page:

Where is the incentive to buy an early bird ticket. I've done it the last 3 years and for the last 2 years they were the same price regardless of when you buy them. Just doesn't seem right to make out you benefit from getting them early when clearly you don't. False advertising perhaps?

I really can't see me ever buying "Early bird" tickets again, unless of course there is an absolutley stella line-up. I hope, with that said, I am forced to buy early!!!!!!!! :D

I won't be buying early bird this year. Possibly not again.

First off, it's very VERY early - at least last year early bird was November time which gave people a chance to get over the summer, their festivals/holidays whatever AND get a bit of money behind them!

Second, Im beginning to feel a bit let down by all the 'it's gonna be amazing / the best ever' announcements. I appreciate my taste is not everybody's and Im getting older and all that - and no, Im NOT dissing any line-up on any year - BUT I don't seem to be UBER excited about the line-ups. So I'll wait. Im lucky enough to not have to worry too much about whether or not I save £20 or £30 by buying a bit earlier. This time I think I'll wait until I have a better idea of what my money's going to get me.

  • 2 weeks later...

nope, I bought RIP last november/december, and regretted it completely. Turned out I preferred the lineup at soni, and as it happened - I could have bought tickets for DL and soni from rockradio for £99 in the final month. NEVER AGAIN.
