Ollie7490
I don't have the blues, Beni has turned into a lads/girls holiday now instead of a festival. If i wanted that i would've gone to Zante or Malia. Yeah it was good, but it's alot worse than it was a couple of years ago, and the crowd is a lot more violent/rough and not as chilled as back then. I very much doubt i'll be going back unless the lineup is out of this world. Basically it's full of c**ts. Sorry to put a downer on things. Yeah sorry, highlights bandwise, Primal Scream, Portishead, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Jack Beats. Other highlights, loads of pills and 4euro vodka. Ollie7490
guess it just depends on the types of people you decide to mingle with! i agree there are big groups of lads/girls there but zante or malia?! nahh its not on a par with that! i personally found it the perfect mix of chilled and mental! so chilled in the day, few casual drinks in the bars round town, then chillin on the beach, then back to the campsite to shower, few pre drinks, arena, party all night! to say its full of c**ts is a bit of a generalisation mate! dunno how many people were there but fairly sure its a lot and they cant be all c**ts! maybe you should work on your tolerance levels before your next festie however, you could not be more right about the strokes! been waiting 5 years to see them an it was PERFECT. yessss Edited July 20, 2011 by Ollie7490

FiB_León
I have the Blues. Im back at work I stumbled across Benicassim last year when TiTP sold out and I was desperate to see Kasabian. I loved it so much I went back this year with a gropu of this. I think the line up was even better and was definitely the best festival I've ever been to. Primal Scream are without doubt the best band I've ever seen, not taking away from everyone else though, I can't remember seeing a bad performance all weekend. The thing about the lads/ladette thing is interesting. I suppose I did notice a few more than last year, but I just tend to ignore them, and there is nothing like the amount at reading/leeds and V festivals in the UK. I have had no bad experiences, you see the odd group acting like d**ks, but then again I could come across as one when im drunk or high too. It's a shame you would feel that way, I was always further back than at the front for the main acts, more space to dance around and easier access to the bar. I found everyone was up for a dance and some photos and sing-a-longs, the same as the campsite. I lost the rest of my group on the first night so I joined up with some scousers that had a big stereo playing The Coral and dancing around the campsite - it was brilliant. I found everyone to be friendly and just up for a good time.
