perfectpassion
Just being nosey I found ticket agencies on ebay claiming to have 42 adult tickets and 3 youth tickets for sale at a cost of £211 for the adult tickets. How do they manage to do this?? Its a good profit, but why would someone buy up this many tickets for an event that only sold out last year just before it happened? I hope that EoTR don't send out the tickets till the last min now, or the tickets had your name on, or you had to show ID to get in or something??? wackojackohighcliffe
If they did that then they'd have to offer refunds if you couldn't go because you couldn't then sell them...
perfectpassion
Not necessarily. Anyway there are two adverts with the same mobile phone no on (60 tickets in total), it shouldn't be too difficult for EoTR to work out who has these tickets (they didn't buy one or two at a time). Its a condition of sale that the tickets can only be resold thru their ethical exchange. So they have a right to cancel the original order. Hey Presto There would be enough tickets for all those people posting tickets wanted threads, and Mr Ticket tout wouldn't be making three grand! Elfy
Well done Sue , probably worth emailing that directly to EOTR (they may not see it on here....)

Better Late...
I just got an e-mail saying tickets will be mailed out in the next few days.
bennyhana22
Me too! Was going to post, but on the basis of many requests on this board from disappointed people after the tickets sold out, I didn't want to raise the spectre of schadenfreude! Yokel Again
Me too! I'm trying to remember whether previous ticket packs have had a site map in with them? If so, the mystery of the Woods Stage location could soon be resolved!?!
shoebox
Don't remember anything other than tickets being supplied, apart from that free CD we got a few years ago. That was nice! But yeah, we MUST be due some answers soon. Stage times and locations. It's just over 5 weeks away!
Sipperana
They'd better arrive before Friday...

Better Late...
I'm away from Thursday but luckily back within the week, so if they haven't arrived before I leave, I should have time to collect them before they are sent back.
Sipperana
Have they said anything about the arrangements for redelivery in the event that they are sent back? It's a real possibility, though we're most likely to have to delay leaving on Friday morning until postie's been.

geofelgie
At the very least you can always arrange to pick them up at the box office. The sent back after a week thing is the Post Office standard practice - nothing to do with EOTR.
GeordieMartin
Nowt was said, but on the website there's an email address for someone called Sophie for ticket enquiries, so if it ain't here by Fri am I'm going to send her an email..... I'm sure they've come across this situation lots of times, and probably just re-send them after a week or so, or maybe email to find a good time to send them. Elfy
Can't you catch the postie before you go and ask if a package comes that needs signing for just post it through or leave with a neighbour?

GeordieMartin
Don't be offended if the postie says 'No'! Both of those actions could result in them being disciplined.

Elfy
We've had the "we tried to deliver..." card which is *almost* as good as the tickets.... At least we know we can collect them tomorrow morning before heading off on holiday
