geofelgie
Right - well no sign of a map - so will describe as it was and hope it's at least similar.......As you walk up from the car park the arenas are on your left - campsites start on your right with family camping, disabled camping and then Tangarine Fields. We camp up about 50 yards after Tangarine Fields....about 50 yards in from the main path (which has the banks of loos on it) to the right......ie from the car park it is directly behind Tangarine Fields. johnsligo
Hello all, I'm going to the end of the road this week for the first time. I'm really looking forward to it but, I am going with a few friends that are all couples. I would like to hang out with a few other singletons and be less of a gooseberry So, it would be nice if any of you other single people want to hang out Let me know. bennyhana22
Would be delighted to shoot the breeze with you John. I'm on my own, but not, in that I am going on my own to a festival where I will meet lots of lovely people that I know from...festivals! You'd do well to drop by the Billy Loadsa Mates Camp - see Geof's post above. What almost always happens is that various random people will head off to the arena to see something or other, so easy tagging along can be had all weekend. De Coverley
Hello everyone! Just ducking my head in here briefly; I have been lurking around the forum on and off in the build up but haven't posted in this bit before. I'm coming to EotR for the first time this year after being recommended it (well, preached to about it really) by a friend of mine from these boards (angelheadedhipster who I think some of you might know from previous festivals). I'm going to be coming down by myself. I've done Glastonbury and other festivals with efestivals groups before and have had so much fun, and made lots of really good friends, I thought it would be a rather good idea to try the same with this festival. I'll try and find the camp and keep an eye out for the flag. I might be wearing an efestivals t-shirt/hoodie so if you see a tallish guy with brown hair looking a little lost and staring into the middle distance looking for a flag maybe shout at him a bit. Or wave. See you all at the festival (hopefully). Thanks!
geofelgie
We certainly do remember the angelheadedhipster! Presume this means she wont be there this year - she will be much-missed! Basically it was her and I that started this whole thing a few years back. Look forward to meeting you, shouldn't be too hard to find us. geof
stephanieaquila
I was supposed to go to EOTR with some friends, but they bailed on me. I still have a ticket and I'm now debating whether I should sell it or go to the festival alone. Was just wondering if anyone has any advice. I really don't want to miss the festival, but I'm worried that going alone might be a bad idea. Help!
