arriving on saturday...

hello everyone, i have a weekend ticket, but i cant get to reading until saturday morning for work commitments .. im not camping but staying in a hotel nearby.. my question is, can i get my wristband before the arena opening time (11am) i want to avoid all the day tickets holders queues, etc, and turn up around 9 am.. is also easy to get in and out the festival as im not camping (even tho my ticket is camping,etc..) any advice appreciated! cheers x

There are separate queues on the Friday for w/e ticket holders, not sure about the Saturday though

I'd very much suspect that you can get the bands early doors, I'd however not bother just aim for 1130ish with a couple of cans of beer, the queue is unlikely to be long at that time, at worst you'd be through in half an hour or so I'd suspect

You'll be able to get your band before the arena opening time and there are a few entrances/exits dotted around to get off the site and back to civilisation.

I may be mistaken but I think that the wrist band exchanges are manned all of the time for weekend ticket holders. so you hold fine getting there at say 9am.

Yeah I always thought they were open 24 hrs, although I've never actually tried to get a wristband in the middle of the night.

ta very much for the replies... im not in a hurry anymore on saturday as the band i was planning to see early just cancelled their gig. grrrr.

they only cancelled at leeds... they are still doing the reading gig if you are on about OFWGKTA..
