Summer 2012 Festivals overlapping

This summer I went to BBK live in Bilbao then Benicassim, they were on consecutive weekends so it worked out perfectly.

I just checked out the dates for next summer and BBK, Beni and Optimus Alive in Lisbon are on the same weekend nest year!

Does anyone else think its pretty stupid of BBK to move to the same weekend and Beni? Surely they will lose a lot of customers over this, especially Spanish folk?

I really hope these are just provisional dates so i can make it another 2 week holiday! Does anyone know of any other festivals in spain/france/portugal that would be on the weekends either side of Beni?

Electric Elephant: 12-16 July

Can anyone who knows of any other big festivals in continental/eastern Europe reply with the names? Might be handy for a lot of people to have all the dates in one place, cheers!

This year, Optimus was the weekend before Super Bock Super Rock, which was the same weekend as Beni. They're both v near Lisbon so that would make a good double-header. However, Optimus has moved on next year and is now on the Beni weekend. This may add credence to the rumour I read online that Super Bock Super Rock isn't happening next year (they haven't shown their hand yet).

Pukkelpop 2012 will take place on Thursday 16th, Friday 17th and Saturday 18th August.
