Just been playing Brakes VERY loudly for the last half hour or so, singing like a madman with two of my kids. I'm thinking that their set on Sunday night might just be the most fun I'm going to have at EOTR 2011...I fear my clash dilemma with John Grant is starting to resolve itself!

That's my EOTR Good News for the evening.

I've wanted to see Brakes at every EOTR I've been to, but every single time they've clashed with a band I'd rather see. This time, John Grant's booming voice and bittersweet humour wins out - sorry Eamon & co.
