ID TO GET IN FESTIVALS?

I AM JUST GETTING INTO DOING SOME FESTIVALS AND LOVING IT-BUT I HAVE ONLY BEEN TO SMALL ONES AND WOULD LIKE TO GO TO THE BIGGER ONES.I HAVE SEEN ALOT OF TICKETS ON EBAY BUT I HAVE HEARD PEOPLE SAY THAT IF THE NAME ON THE TICKET DOESNT MATCH THE ID YOU PRESENT THEN YOU GET REFUSED ENTRY?HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYBODY?HAS ANYBODY BOUGHT FROM EBAY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS?THANKS

not all festival tickets have a name/photo on them, infact I think most..dont?

Most festivals you'll be fine. I know there's names on the Reading and Leeds but they don't check for ID, i'd assume it's the same for most other fests.

is that a new thing? I didn't think the tickets had names on but I haven't been to reading for a few years now
