Hi there,

Never been to a festival ever! Creamfields lineup tempted me to break my duck,

me and 4 mates are driving down from Newcastle in my mighty little fiat punto! Ha

Feel sorry for the lads in the back :P

Basically just need the jist of what to take? Wellies being the main query, cant see dancing in wellies to be comfortable? Was just going take like 5 x £10 triple s plimsoles?

Isnt everything in tents anyways? Cant understand why you would need wellies?

Food wise i was considering pot noodles but is there place to get hot water? Gunna take lots of pies and sauasage rolls to.

Also me and my mates are big fans of good old Mr Charlie, And where taking about 3g each down, think we will have any probs by the dogs?

Drink wise im a spirit drinker so guna take a crate of the stella drink and 2 litres of vodka, guna wrap one in a sleeping bag, also taking a pack of plastic cups and about 8 litres of dr pepper!

clothes wise just going to take 3 pairs of sweat pants, 3 tee's and 2 hoodys think that will be okay?

Cheers for any advice im buzzin!

its my 21st on tuesday also, been listening to SHM set from last year over and over on Youtoob.

Look around on here kiddo there is plenty of advice, I have the luxury of being able to go home and return the next day as I live in Liverpool

Isnt everything in tents anyways? Cant understand why you would need wellies? Almost everything is in tents, however there are acts on the clublife stage and south stage and when you are walking from arena to arena it does get sloppy, I myself wear sturdy patrol boot or walking boots as they are comfortable as fook!

Cheers for any advice im buzzin!

And one last thing...if you cant be good, be carefull and if you can't be careful.. be prepared to buy a pram ;)

Dude... am just saying that the drug thing is a bit dodgy... just co=operate with them at every turn when they searching ya. I've had a mate of mine walk in with 600 pills with no problems. I've had a mate who was busted for having coke residue on a note in his wallet. Luck of the draw. If you wanna be safe, don't do drugs. Hahaha.

Taking 7 uncle charlies with me if you catch my drift!

At t in the park (where sniffer dogs are at campsite entrance) pal walked in with an ounce (28g) and he actually asked the security guy to search him, he refused.. and said jog on.. so basically it is your luck.

Wellies are a must!!! MUST MUST MUST, especially as rain is forecast.

Warm clothes for night time, esp if your camping.

TITP has pot noodle vans, so CF might be the same? if not theyr will be plenty of food stalls.

Went to a dance fest a couple of yrs ago and we got sniffed by the dogs, but we managed to get stuff through. The dog only sniffed our ankles... so carry the stuff high up.

Other than that............. BRING IT ON !!

Another vote for wellies. I've wore wellies for the past couple of years, I added 2 pairs of those wooly sheepskin type insoles in them - they're proper comfy for dancing around in! I remember being in trainers about 3 or 4 years ago and nearly losing them cos the mud was that thick on the entrances/exits in the tents!!
