Primal scream: Top of their game?

Did anyone else think Primal Scream played an absolute blinder? I've seen them many time at various festivals, and their performance has been variable. But Saturday night at Weston was something else - saxophone, gospel choir... they could teach the kids a thing or 2 about Rock 'n' Roll!

absolutley amazing set, I was right at the front dancing my ass off. I couldnt believe how small the crowd was, I walked straight to the front 5-10 mins before they started! Didnt affect the atmosphere tho, the crowd was bloody brilliant as all the twat heads were at eminem and all the peeps at primal scream were amazing!

Couldn't agree more,myself,the missus and two lads who's first experience of V festival it was left a group of 20-25 other friends and watched Primal Scream,first time any of us had seen them and boy did they put on a show,thought the crowd though obviously not the biggest did the band and themselves proud by getting involved singing along and dancing and the behaviout was impeccable,been to a few V festivals and I can honestly say that Saturday night watching Primal Scream has been one of the highlights over all these years.

Agree it was a great show. For me it was just the thing a headline act should do - plenty of hits, some given a fresh twist and thought given to the lighting, stage background and style of the show.

The choir were great and I'm also a sucker for a laser show so was well impressed with their show

Was at Chelmsford, so they finished the weekend for me. Absolutely amazing performance. Been going since 98 and probably ranks in my top 3 ever.
