Lift from Manchester?

Hello, I'm sorry if this has been a topic before. I had a look through but didn't seen anything. I'm travelling down from Manchester to meet friends from the saaahff, and I was wondering if anyone else was who could offer me a lift. I would pay petrol money of course, and possibly bring baked goods. I was hoping for the Thursday to travel down, and the Monday to go back up, but can be relatively flexible.

And for the people who have clicked the topic, but cannot offer me a lift, is this a completely stupid thing to do? Should I just fork out for the train, stutter, what I mean is, just kill the environment with my train fumes?
