Don't know if anyone follows Brakes on Twitter, but they said this morning that they're planning something a little different this year and are taking requests for covers that they could learn. I've already requested "Bastards Of Young", "Youth Gone Wild" and "Sweating Bullets". But what would YOU like to hear them perform?

This sounds like fun, so I might sack off John Grant for them now. Reckon he might do a late Tipi set anyway.

I like Brakes a great deal. My wife hates them.

In 2009 she managed to fall asleep at the side of the Big Top while I jumped around like a (very happy) idiot. I to this day do not understand how someone can sleep thruogh one of the loudest bands at EOTR.

I tried to get in to them in the build up to 09 and 10. Didn't succeed either time.

I haven't bothered this year.
