Where is the Woods stage going to be?

I'm in a heightened state of mehness about where the Woods stage is going to be.

It will be somewhere within the festival site.

It will have bands playing at it.

It is a big stage, so it will be accessible.

I am at a loss to know why anyone needs to know any more about it at this stage.

I have better things to worry about at the moment.

The thread asks where they think the Woods Stage is going to be. My answer to that is I don't care. I will have a brilliant time wherever the Woods Stage is. I got over an initial disappointment about the relocation of the Cider Bus last year, and the loss of the Bimble Inn the year before, so I'm not inclined to waste the sort of energy that some others seem to be, fretting about where a new stage might be located.

In there you will notice I said I will have a brilliant time. That matters a lot to me. I also trust Simon and Sofia to their best by us.

I agree in some ways and I'm sure I will have a great time too as I always do, but the lack of communication this year compared to others bothers me slightly.

Several things have been the centre of discussions this year (woods stage, capacity, stage times) that in previous years would have received a quick response from either Simon of Sofia to reassure and explain...that has always been one of the things that makes me love EOTR so much, that opinions and concerns have always been taken into account, but this year that communication has been noticably absent.

To make it clear, i'm not bothered so much where it is, the reason i wanted to know more than anything was so i could do a bit of forward planning, know where i'm camping, arrange to meet, maybe god forbid discuss the whereabouts of it with some fellow forum members and maybe even, just maybe get excited about it! I will have a good time even if i was on me own i just liking knowing shit that's all. :D

Whilst not as worried as some of my fellow board members regarding the changes to this year's festival, I dearly hope that this is not the case. I'm not even sure why I feel that way - there's nothing inherently wrong with the concept of something that enhances the experience for many of those attending an event. It's just that EOTR doesn't have screens, so I don't want there to be any screens.

Now that's a well fashioned argument, if ever I conceived one.
