Day Ticket Questions

Hello soon to be fellow ravers!

This is my first Creamfields festival so looking for some advice!

Only going on the Sunday due to work commitments (sad face) and will be getting there on the Creamfields coach.

I think the day tickets are new to 2011 but there's not much info on them, surely I can't be the only one going on Sunday? lol.

Are you allowed to bring in any alcohol if you hold a day ticket? How thorough are the searches for bags/body? Thinking of strapping one of them refillable rum things you can get in ASDA to my stomach (a pouch thing with rum a bit like a CapriSun) & just buy Cokes. Is it worth the risk?

On Sunday night, what time does the music go off and at that point does everyone leave at the same time?

What does everyone wear or is it anything goes?

And the biggie, what time should you get in the tent for SHM to get a decent distance away from the DJ box? Couldn't even see them in Pacha it was that crammed!

Thanks for any info, guys!

A girl we got chatting to in the queue last year had one of those bags of wine duck taped to her back under her top/jacket and got it in no problems haha - but as mentioned above definately hit and miss, depends if you want to chance it! We usually have a couple in the Walton Arms down the road, and then take a couple of cans to drink in the queue. I can't be bothered with the hassle of trying to smuggle in drink, as if they discover it then its cost you money anyway.

They've done single day tickets since day 1 - they never stopped doing them when they introduced the 2 and 3 day weekends. I've done just the saturday for the past couple of years now, only done one of the weekends. I think I usually take about £100 - I dont think i'd spend that on the sunday though. Clothing wise I just go with wellies (a must regardless of weather forecast), jeans, t shirt, and a think zip up hoody - if I get wet then I get wet!!

All the best.

Marc
