So, I posted this a few weeks ago

the only area of open ground within the woods is where garden stage has been - that's where the white square structure with 3 white dots below it is on the linked view towards the top left.

there is no other space within this wooded area at all. but there are options at the edge of woods in various directions. eg

all the way through woods to the north

to the extreme east (right) where there is an area surrounded by wood (with road name half hide down on road aboive it)

or south (bottom) to the wood beyound the buildings at the entrance

On the basis of Heddwch's comment it would fall into my 'extreme south (bottom) location, which would make sense from a band/trucks access point of view.

Questions it raises though are

How much more change is there on site as a result - if there were no other changes at all to layout then the 'woods' stage / arena would be separate from the previous 'arena' as it is to the other side of the (previous years') route through from parking/entrance (on the left/west) to the camping (right/east). That would not seen to be sensible logistically

Will there be any sound impact on the Big Top tent as, based on previous years' location, the new Woods stage would appear to probably face towards the Big Top but with no 'muffle' eg trees etc, in between.

Looking at the GoogleMap photo there is no way the location looks as if it will be as intimate / nice / beautiful as the Woods stage.

Anyway, will find the answer to all these Q's in about 3 hours time. About to finish packing, pick up lift share locally and be on my way.

Looks like there's a new main entrance and Woods stage is where disabled camping was last year. Anyway, will find out at around 10am tomorrow morning. Can't wait. Gutted we couldn't go today. Really want to be there NOW!!
