I still stand by my belief that 2017 was the perfect weather. It was blazing hot on Wednesday and we'd all had enough of the heat by the end of the day, mist descended after dark that looked amazing when lit up by the late night areas. Every morning there was some mist and drizzle, but never enough to need anything other than trainers. It was cool enough to get a decent bit of later morning kip, the sun burned the mist off by midday every day and then it was warm and dry every afternoon and evening. It rained a bit Sunday morning but again, wasn't heavy, didn't affect the ground conditions and was perfectly timed for a well earned lie in.
