It's been a rare sunny day today so in all this excitement I put my new tent up whilst listening to my Kendal playlist. So happy with the new announcements, especially Little Comets because they were ace at Leeds last year.

Couldn't be happier with the lineup, I don't know how they do so much with tickets being so cheap compared to other festivals

im quite happy that fridays main stage line up isnt the strongest for my tastes, it'll give me the opportunity to get round some other areas and enjoy the atmosphere. If im not careful i can see me being pretty much camped at the main stage most of saturday and sunday. I may have to sacrifice some of the bands i wanna see to do a bit of listening to new bands and singers.

I'd gladly trade a few of these acts to the wickerman line up to make that a little stronger ! for pretty much the same outlay kendal seems ahead of wickerman and miles ahead of solfest

Bloody hell, didn't think this old account would still be active. At least it got rid of content from before the revamp, wouldn't want to read some of those teenage posts.

First time at Kendal, wondering generally what time stages start? We're heading up Friday morning but really want to catch Max Raptor.

Happy that the main arena sounds nice and densely packed, tend to like wandering between stages rather than slobbing out like the mates.

I know this is off topic, but another 'festival' (in the loosest of terms) has been cancelled that was due this weekend....."MFest".

This was due to take place Saturday & Sunday but has been cancelled "due to the adverse weather conditions leading up to this event in conjunction with the extreme weather warning as issued by the met office for the weekend".

From looking at some of the lineup, it was a bit 'cheesey' so I'm also wondering if ticket sales weren't all that good.

Today is looking particularly foul here in Leeds.......

Thing is if they're playing high up the houseparty bill you've got a much better chance of seeing them without a clash. The calling out and main stage end around 10.45 while the house party stays on till 2ish. Wouldn't mind seeing them about 1am tbh

Another off topic post, but does anyone know whats caused Neil to remove the T in The Park forum?

Someone raised a new subject in the 'Other Festivals' section asking where it had gone....Neil's response was "It no longer exists and won't be returning. It's more trouble than it's worth."

Anyone?

What I've said is all you need to know. If it becomes impossible to run a forum on any sensible basis no forum will be run at all.

Those users have brought it on themselves, and it's those users who lose out.

End of.
