I bought a class knock off hoodie from 2010 with all the bands on the back inc AC/DC. but it did fuck me off how they wouldnt allow their name on the back of the official merch. Do the members of AC/DC make this decision? or does it come from management ect ect?

For me, it was the lack of crowd interaction. Apparently he's usually quite big on the crowd participation on stage and all we do was 'Are you ready to rock donington?'

I just felt they didn't want to be there, which was tedious given they were paid the most and the organisers had really gone out their way to please them.

All in all, I didn't think they were that good. The worst metallica gig i've ever seen wiped the floor with that.

I got a knock off t-shirt with AC/DC on it, its good quality too, last year I didn't get a t-shirt at all both the official and fake t-shirts were really shit designs, and the fake sellers were asking like a tenner, usually they sell out on the first day, I remember 2010 they were walking around with a line up t shirt and just a t-shirt with AC/DC on it, they sold out the line up ones on day one and the rest of the weekend just trying to flog the AC/DC ones.

But last year there was loads still for sale due the the pathetic effort they'd gone to making them.

Hoping this years designs are better, I'll get an official one. Gutted I actually don't have any t-shirt for last year cus the line up wasn't that bad really, especially SOAD and Rob Zombie

I really liked last years line-up it got slated and undermined due to the Def Lepard cock up.

This year beats it for strength in depth though.

Last night setlist was 5 songs, black album in reverse then 3 song encore. Was hoping for a longer set at Download but I guess thats we'll get, 20 songs

Today they played the same 1st four songs but took Blackened out and played Battery instead, half way through Black album now, in reverse again.

I find it quite interesting that they're playing it in reverse. I guess the big hits are at the beginning, but I'd have thought it changes the 'album performance' a bit.

No complaints though, never will when I know Of Wolf and Man will be in the set, was awesome at Soni a few years ago.

I'm surprised there's nothing off Death Magnetic either. I've heard them play all the songs I like off it by now anyway, but still surprised. Be nice to get Fade to Black again.

not keen on the black album in reverse. i dont like the black album, but playing it in reverse is just wrong. they didnt fuck about with MOP, why fuck about with an (arguably) bigger album?

i like hearing the fadeout or climax, and counting down to the first riff of the next song.
