Does anyone know how long it takes to get the car parked at Rock Werchter, the website suggests you travel by train. Really don't want to miss seeing Metric because of this! We should arrive at around midday on the thursday if traffic is good, so could be tight if it takes about an hour to park the car!:( Thanks for any help

Hello All,

I have joined the fb group - would be cool to meet up up with some fellow Brits. I am going with my sister.

I have been before - but have decided to get the train this time. Can anyone tell me whether the bus to Leuven runs after the Chillis on the Sunday - or does it stop during the night?

Thanky!

I actually had a really good time, but I can *totally* understand why people didn't. I wasn't there for anyone in particular (Not a big dance guy), other than Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, who were to open the main stage on day two. When it all got rained off, Dan Le Sac was wandering around telling people to check them out on the myspace bus. So I headed over, and got to see a really unique set. They performed on the bottom deck, there were about twenty of us on the top deck, and an entire field of people dancing along outside. Was fantastic. Other than that I just walked from tent to tent and danced until the wee hours. Had a cracking time.

Prodigy were brilliant. Seen a few festival sets of theirs now, and Gatecrasher had the best sound of all of them. Really good.

Sorry, didn't mean to turn this thread into Gatecrasher chat, but I've been mentioning that festival to people for four years and no-one else had heard of it. Got a bit carried away.

Rock Werchter, woo!

Quick - Who wants a lift in a Porsche to RW via Eurotunnel? From London :)

Hi,

We have three cars going and at the moment, I have a spare seat. We are two porsches and some other old sports car. Mine's a new soft top Boxster. So, if you haven't got MASSES of stuff and want a lift to RW to share the costs and the journey (likely you will get to ride in the Carrera too), please give me a shout urgently at mostoflife@gmail.com

We will leave from Parsons Green, SW6 at around 7am, Thursday morning. Heading to Folkestone for a quick Eurotunnel. Returning Monday afternoon at a leisurely pace. Home for around 6-7 I expect.

This will cost me around £270 in total I imagine. I will ask you for £125, which is pretty good for porsche to RW, and includes the Eurotunnel crossing of course... arrive in style!

Hope to hear from you soon!!

By the way, am totally normal, laid back, nice guy. Am not a a*rse with a small p*nis. I just like to drive. And would be great to have someone along for the ride. Is gonna be a GREAT weekend!

Rich

Hi, I'm traveling from there. I'm taking the shuttle bus to Charleroi South station then the train to brussles midi, then getting a train to Leuven, as there's no direct route from Charleroi south. Once you get to Leuven there are two shuttle buses, one for A campsites, and one for B and C campsites.

I've had to pre-book my e train ticket because I'm coming from abroad so If you havent booked yours yet you should.

Hi, Im coming from Ireland so I'm guessing I will have to book my train ticket tonight?. What time will you be arriving at the airport, would you want to meet up and travel up together, I have NO CLUE as to where im going or what train/bus or even campsite i gotta head to. Just planning on playing it by ear.

Cheers
