Why would SOAD go to GMM. I've been to rw three times and gmm two times and rw has always had one "metal" headliner...2009=Metallica, 2010=Rammstein, 2011=Iron Maiden....svo why not 2012=SOAD?

But before I slaughter this line-up completely I'm gonna wait and see all the undercards. But The Cure headlining and dEUS and Snow Patrol subbing is disappointing in my opinion. I'd like to have all these bands, but in a lower slot.

You might perfer it but The Cure are only ever going to headline festivals, they are big enough to and are good enough to and like doing very long sets that only headliners get.

The only complaint I can really see from people is that they have headlined Rock Werchter too many times.

Apart from Bruce, Radiohead and Stone Roses they have everything touring that period.

Guess the last headliner will also headline T in The Park. Maybe The Killers.

Rihanna is also mentioned as a possible act. They don't have a big pop act like Pink or Black Eyed Peas yet, so it's possible.

Think they'll know the last headliners in the next two or three weeks.

Radiohead for the big festivals next year is a good shout, btw.

And Bruce is Benelux exclusive for Pinkpop indeed.

I totally agree with you. The last headliner will also appear at T in the park and Benicassim. Noel is not headlining there btw. - their poster is just work in progress. As soon as thursday they will confirm the next additions to it. Maybe then we will know for sure who will be closing the saturday at Werchter. The Killers are rumoured everywhere. They would be a good choice in combination with Rihanna to cater to a younger audience as the other headliners are all older acts.

But I'm still hoping for Blur to be announced. ;)

Bush is supporting Nickleback on their US tour witch ends June 26th....maybe Nickleback is the fourth headliner and we'll see both these bands at Rock Werchter? ...not my choice but a possibility...

I don't know how big Nickleback are in Belgium but they would headline any festival in the UK...but I remember seeing them at Pinkpop in 2006 and they played midday on 2nd stage

Hahaha....are you referring to Download? ;) ...I hear Andy Copping isin't your biggest fan after the van Halen fiasco ;p

as far as I'm aware I'm not referring to any UK festival, because as far as I know Nickleback have never played a UK festival.

I presume they've never played a UK festival because they're dreadful and anyone who goes to a festival knows it.

Ok, so maybe they're out....but I'd love to see Bush :)

a few years ago ... actually, five or more ago now .... I was wearing my Mark Thomas designed "FUCK BUSH" t-shirt in the backstage area at Reading fest while waiting to go and photo a band, and Piers Hernu (who used to edit lads mag Front) came up to me, pissed as a fart, and started hassling me about the t-shirt.

A moment or two later his mate turned up ... Piers thought my t-shirt was about the band Bush, and his mate was Bush's drummer.

Just booked for this year!

Any campsite info? looking for the best site, with decent atmosphere!

Camped in the one over the road from the big screen (the one they had up on the wednseday night) and this site was a bit quiet for our liking.

And i think we were the only english people in that site!! not thats thats a massive problem, but would like to have an english contingent so we can have a good laugh!

Loved it last year. so well looking forward to this year!

Roll on June!!
