They don't normally sell out until right on the festival date,

not quite true, last year it never sold out until the last minute but as a rule sells out around april/may time.

burst pipe meant i had to abandon ship so didn't buy.

we're looking at staying at de klokkeberg from the monday. it says on the site that no reservation is neccesary, but with a fest on before that weekend as well, anxious that it might be packed.

hopefully someone's stayed there that can give us some tips

Black Keys aren't touring Europe in July. Guess Pukkelpop will have them.

Since they're confirmed for Melt Festival in Germany I'm really hoping to see Bloc Party somewhere at the bill. Guess they can sub on saturday...

We camped in A2 last year...was good, and close. But not many English people.

Going to try A3 or A4 this year i think, just over the road! looked to be more of an atmosphere in there!

yeah it does seem a lot quieter than most festivals on a night, no bars in any of the campsites serving drinks, which probably explains it!

so getting some sleep wont be a problem. i imagine the further away from the arena the quieter it will be. thats usually the case for most festivals
