Defiantly think Deadmau5 will be playing as-well, would certainly be happy enough with that.

As for Prodigy did the post on the Download festival blog not say that they were a UK exclusive for download, suppose they could be wrong. Chase & Status could well play the Saturday or Sunday though.

I think Rockness is only gonna book safe headliners now, it seems the festival is moving in a different direction. Can't see New Order playing for this reason, although they are a prestigous band, you would still have half the punters saying "who are they"

Really hoping for the rock act to be Biffy or Black Keys. Apart from that, Jim needs to get more upcoming French artists like Surkin, Canblaster, Sam Tiba, Brodinski etc. Then of course get some Scottish talent in there like Rustie and Hudson Mohawke.

They would be brilliant as a special attraction, but cant really see them there. Think they are touring buddies with Metallica too going by the other fests they are playing

Justice are Clash headliners to me.

I love Justice, seeing them in a few weeks at the O2 in Glasgow, but I don't think there show would work on the main stage at Rockess, more suited indoors. If Deadmau5 does play, he will be on the mainstage for sure though. Saw him at the Barrowlands then at TITP and his show is so much better indoors or even just in darkness. Kind of annoying how it's still light when the headliners play at most festivals :/

If Deadmau5 played he'd be headlining I think, so in that case for almost all his set would be dark, remember it being dark for The Chemical Brothers last year anyway - guess that's probably the only advantage of having a festival so far north.
