5co77ie
Lovebox have tweeted a clue : Saturday's main stage headliners are a Mercury Music Prize nominated band...
Frankly Mr Shankly
Suede perhaps? Or New Order? Edited January 26, 2012 by Frankly Mr Shankly
jump
So guessing they didn't win it since they are only saying nominated so Mumford & Sons or Florence is my guess.

zahidf
Mumford and Sons are around that time period playing Rockness, so they would be favourites IMO
jump
Not necessarily, they may just not have wanted to say "winner" because it would limit it so much. I mean lets be realistic, the only bands from the winners list I could see headlining are: Primal Scream, Suede, Portishead, Pulp, PJ Harvey, Dizzee Rascal, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys,Elbow & maybe The XX, Klaxons & Antony & the Johnsons at a push, the rest are too obscure or not around anymore. Frankly Mr Shankly
I can't see them getting Florence. But Mumford are very likely I'd agree.
5co77ie
and another clue tweeted: This year’s main stage Friday headliners have played 3 times before and we’re HUGE fans. Any guesses?
jump
Has to be Groove Armada, again.

thesecretingredientiscrime
NME line-up is missing some from the official line-up. It's a great line-up imo. I'm confused though, are the headliners in this? Hot Chip are playing on Friday, and have played three times I believe, and Friendly Fires are Mercury nominated and are listed on Saturday.... zahidf
Hot Chip, Friendly Fires and Holly Johnson are the headliners according to timeout. What an odd line up choice. Can't see it selling out this year.
fairy_
I agree this lineup seems a bit strange; not sure there's much here to attract the fair-weather festival fan?
Bisque
Hospitality on the Saturday looks good (I'm sure they did it last year too).
LondonTom
Its a decent line up but ..theres nothing really...special about it?
Bisque
Might be able to get some cheap tickets off eBay or another way if it doesn't sell out.
eFestivals
Its a decent line up but ..theres nothing really...special about it? I've heard they've got Donna Summer (the real one, not "DJ Donna Summer"). If they have that's mighty special.

Poleski
Think I'm going to the Saturday of it. Booka Shade, Maceo Plex, Art Department and High Contrast will keep me entertained! Pretty average line up though...
dacbo
Question: is the sound at Lovebox as poor as it is for Field Day? I wont be going to Field Day this year (despite a killer lineup) purely based on the fact that its ruined by the noise restrictions. Thinking about going to Lovebox and hoping the situation isn't the same?

thesecretingredientiscrime
I think Hyde Park is the more generous re noise restrictions. Clapham Common is awful for noise restrictions too... totally ruins a good festival.
